The clothing brand Vicomte A was established in 2005 under the leadership of Arthur de Soultrait, while he was still a student. At just 22 years old, he launched a brand both chic and unusual with colourful and elegant clothes (shirts, polos). Originally created in Paris, Vicomte A is now present all over the world, from Portofino to Marbella. It is also partners of prestigious sports events.

Vicomte A, a blessing in disguise.

Vicomte A is a French ready to wear brand founded by Arthur and Bertrand de Soultrait in Paris, in 2005. Vicomte A was first inspired in Charlotte, North Carolina, when the company where Arthur worked went bankrupt. He got the idea of selling ties he bought in Italy door-to-door, in order to cover his hotel and have a return ticket for France. During only 10 days, he gathered 8.000 dollars. Therefore, at his arrival in Paris, he went on with his business and had an agreement to supply the French Paris 2012 delegation for the Olympics Games. He created a company named Vicomte A. Later, his brother Bertrand joined him and together, they retouched the habitual sophisticated and classic French style by adding colors and new inventions in order to create an aristocratic but funnier style.

Vicomte A differs from other clothing labels through its concept. Unlike other fashion brands, Vicomte A does not have a particular design, but rather stresses and focuses on a style which is inspired from Arthur’s personal characters : young, aristocratic but contemporary, traveler, innovative and smart. The brand is as well mostly inspired from riding sports.

Later, the brand sponsored the greatest sporting events related to polo, golf, sailing and tennis. In 2013, the brand opened 51 standalone stores spread in big cities around the world such as Paris, Hong Kong, Florida, Jakarta, Beijing and Tokyo. The brand also owns 2 shops in the U.S.A apart from Paris, and employs about 70 people in total.
