Beachwear for men, a short story.
In the Antiquity and all old times, there was absolutely no need for beachwear or swimsuit, as swimming was done naked. It is only in the 18th century that people began to use an ankle-length bathing gown with long sleeves to swim. In the first half of the 19th century, the sleeves almost disappeared, and the gown became knee-length. Swimming in the nude was totally banned in the United Kingdom in 1860. And men started to use a pair of drawers or a caleçon in 1870.
